650mAh is pleased to present the solo exhibition Horse Follows Darkness In Through The Light by Athens-based artist and composer Delia Gonzalez. The exhibition is framed around Gonzalez’ 2018 16mm film Horse Follows Darkness. Set to the music from Gonzalez’ 2017 album of the same name, the film features an all-female cast of five ballet dancers representing the heroine, the devil, shadow, seduction and fear. As well as the film, the exhibition will feature various memorabilia and archival material surrounding Horse Follows Darkness.
Delia Gonzalez (b. 1972, Miami, USA) lives and works in Athens, GR. Gonzalez received her BFA from Georgia State University in 1995. Previous exhibitions include Benaki Museum, Athens, GR (2019); MIT, Cambridge, USA (2018); The Last Days of Pompeii at Galleria Fonti, Naples, IT (2017); MOMA PS1, New York City, USA (2015); Kunsthaus Graz, Graz, AT (2013); Migros Museum, Zurich, CH (2010). Previous albums include Pentimenti (2019); Horse Follows Darkness (2017); In Remembrance (2015); Track 5 (2010); The Days of Mars (2005).
